Officer MacMillan attempts a traffic stop on a yellow motorcycle for speeding. The cyclist stops at first, but then suddenly rides off starting a pursuit. The suspect rides into oncoming traffic three times before entering a freeway. After several miles, the suspect exits the freeway and appears to have trouble getting the bike into gear. He brakes and taps MacMillan’s bumper causing him to crash. He is taken into custody and claims he ran because he hadn’t checked in with his parole officer. He is arrested for a no bail warrant and felony evading.

Why Law Enforcement | I am following my father and grandfather’s footsteps. I feel this was a calling for me to help others and give back to the community I grew up in. |
First Arrest | The first arrest I can recall was a person driving a stolen car. I observed a car with no lights on at night and parked in the middle of a roadway in a high crime area. I ran the license plate and I received information the vehicle was stolen. I conducted a felony traffic stop with my partners and the driver was arrested for possessing a stolen vehicle. |
Best part of the job | The best part of my job is helping children. I absolutely love helping kids who are in poor situations and getting them into better situations. Children love police officers and always express their interest in my career. I always make sure to give them stickers, let them sit in the police vehicle and press all the buttons to see all the “cool” lights. |
Hobbies | I normally spend most of my time with my beautiful wife and two wonderful daughters. I do enjoy golfing whenever I am not busy with my children’s gymnastics and softball. |
